  • Metal-free restorations: Resculpt damaged or misshapen molars with these lifelike restorations.
  • Cosmetic dental bonding: Quickly and painlessly address minor dental defects.
  • Teeth whitening: Lift stubborn stains and brighten your smile by up to eight shades.
  • Tooth-colored fillings: Resolve destructive tooth decay and restore the strength of your smile.

We also use virtual smile design technology that allows us to show you the expected results of your treatments during your consultation so you can know what to expect.

Understanding the Cost of a Smile Makeover

Since each smile makeover is completely customized to address the individual patient’s needs, the cost of one treatment plan can vary considerably from that of another. Each service rendered will be represented on your final bill, but dental insurance may provide some coverage for procedures that are medically necessary. We’ll be happy to walk you through your treatment plan and the associated costs when we see you for your consultation, and we’ll also take care to explain your payment and financing options. We partner with CareCredit, a trusted third-party lender that can set qualified patients up with flexible payment plans that break their bills into easy monthly installments.

Smile Makeover FAQs

How many treatments can you include in a smile makeover?

You can expect your smile makeover in Fort Worth to be fully customized based on your needs. Dr. Neil will discuss your available options and determine which will deliver the kind of results you deserve. Some of the most common treatments that may be included in your plan are:

  • Porcelain Veneers
  • Teeth Whitening
  • Metal-Free Dental Restorations
  • Cosmetic Dental Bonding
  • Gum Recontouring

Does a smile makeover hurt?

It is normal to be concerned about possible pain that may occur during treatment, but the truth is that you should not expect to feel any discomfort during each procedure. Local anesthesia is commonly used to numb parts of your mouth that are undergoing treatment, so you should feel no discomfort while in the dentist’s chair.

Certain services, such as cosmetic dental bonding and teeth whitening, do not require anesthesia; however, if you need dental restorations, veneers, or gum recontouring, we’ll numb the appropriate areas before starting.

While you may experience minor soreness after the anesthesia wears off, it is temporary and should subside within a few days.

Do smile makeovers have an age limit?

Young children should not receive a smile makeover, as their facial structure and oral features are not yet fully developed. However, instead of focusing solely on age, Dr. Neil will prioritize a patient’s oral health. If you do not show signs of serious tooth decay or gum disease, there is a good chance you will qualify for a smile makeover.

If any existing oral health problems keep you from being able to move forward with a smile makeover, do not worry. We can address these issues and prepare your smile for a complete transformation in the future.

Are smile makeovers expensive?

Of all the available cosmetic services at Dr. Neil’s dental office, a smile makeover is likely to be one of the more expensive. The reason is that it often includes multiple procedures, so the price can increase with each new cosmetic service added to the plan.

Fortunately, our team will not proceed without your consent. We’ll craft a cost estimate for your review and discuss ways to lower your out-of-pocket expenses. This may include enrolling in our in-house membership plan or applying for CareCredit financing.
